MONROE COUNTY, WV (LOOTPRESS) – Monroe County Clerk, Jeremy Meadows, announces that the candidate filing period for the 2024 Primary Election will begin on Monday, January 12th, 2026, at 8:30 AM.  Candidate filing will be open through Saturday, January 31st, 2026. Per WV State Code, the Clerk’s office will be open on Saturday, January 31st, 2024, from 8:30 AM till 12:00 PM for Candidate Filing. You may file for the following offices in the Clerk’s Office:
