MONTGOMERY, WV (LOOTPRESS) — A Montgomery woman has reported a disturbing string of domestic abuse incidents, prompting police to investigate her partner for multiple alleged assaults and acts of control.
According to Montgomery Police, the victim contacted authorities on May 11 to report ongoing domestic violence at the hands of Dennis Tate.
She told officers that Tate kicked her out of their home on the night of May 9 and shut off the power, leaving her outside all night. She also alleged that he refused to let her shower for approximately four days and discarded all of her food.
The situation escalated further, she claims, when Tate physically assaulted her on two separate occasions — allegedly kicking her in the back of the leg on May 10 and pulling her hair on May 11.
Tate was arrested and charged with domestic battery.
