CHARLESTON, WV (LOOTPRESS) – “Attorney General Patrick Morrisey today announced an exclusive interview with HD Media, which will air tonight at approximately 8:30 PM.
During the interview, Morrisey discusses myriad of issues facing West Virginia, including the fentanyl and opioid epidemic, coal, oil, and gas jobs, energy independence, education and school choice, job creation, business retention and spurring West Virginia’s economy. He also discussed his background and love for West Virginia.
Morrisey also covers the ways the leftwing establishment media are controlling the ways voters receive critical information from candidates running for office, including media-controlled debates which are losing viewership and resonance with the electorate.
‘Too often in today’s world we see the media taking sides in political debates, playing favorites and yielding outsized influence in our elections,’ said Morrisey.
‘West Virginia voters deserve to hear directly from the candidates about the most important issues facing our state. My conversation with HD Media will give voters an authentic, unabridged way to get to know me and understand the positive vision I have for our great state.’
The Attorney General also takes on tough questions from a media group not known to be supportive of our work.
Morrisey invited his opponents to participate in a series of three candidate-driven debates following the January filing deadline. None of Morrisey’s opponents have accepted the offer. Morrisey discusses that he asked to hold debates AFTER the filing deadline passes because no one knows which candidates will actually file or drop out.
He also asked for some input into the rules but the media entity planned to solely dictate those rules. Like President Trump, Morrisey will never let the media and political elites dictate how he governs.
