BARBOUR COUNTY, WV (LOOTPRESS) – On May 10, 2025, a domestic violence protective order was served by Deputy C. Curkendall following an alleged violent incident involving a family in West Virginia.
According to the deputy’s report, the order was issued in connection with a case involving a son and his mother, Autumn Knight. Family members told law enforcement that Knight had become violent, allegedly striking her son in the back of the head with a vacuum cleaner and later threatening him with a kitchen knife. She reportedly left the home and filed for a protective order of her own.
The son and two other family members provided consistent accounts to authorities, describing the mother as the aggressor. They also stated they initially withheld reporting the incident out of concern for her mental health.
Based on the statements and evidence provided, the woman is now facing one count of domestic battery.
