BOTETOURT COUNTY, VA (LOOTPRESS) – A Maryland man died following a motorcycle crash late Saturday night in Botetourt County, according to Virginia State Police.
The crash happened at 11:15 p.m. on March 29 along Route 460 at its intersection with the Blue Ridge Parkway.
Police say a 2011 Triumph Thruxton 900 motorcycle was traveling east on U.S. Route 460 when it ran off the right side of the road and struck a brick wall.
The rider, identified as 27-year-old Darnell Wesley Adams of White Plains, Maryland, was wearing a helmet at the time of the crash.
He was transported to Roanoke Memorial Hospital, where he later died.
