CHAPMANVILLE, WV (LOOTPRESS) – Residents of the Town of Chapmanville engaged in the electoral process on Tuesday as Municipal Elections got underway.
While numerous mayoral races throughout the state saw sitting candidates running unopposed, the Town of Chapmanville was an exception with current Mayor Joel McNeely taking on a challenger in the form of Robin Adams-Mutters.
Seven candidates were on the ballot in the race for town council, along with an unopposed bid for Recorder.
The unofficial 2023 Municipal Election results (combined totals of all town precincts) as reported by the Town of Chapmanville on Tuesday are as follows:

These results will remain unofficial until such a time as canvassing occurs on Wednesday, June 21, 2023 at the Tracy Vickers Community Center.
