FAYETTE COUNTY, WV (LOOTPRESS) – An Oak Hill man is facing felony charges in Fayette County. Sheriff Mike Fridley provides the following information regarding this incident.
Just after 10:00 p.m. on October 11, 2023, deputies responded to a domestic disturbance in Mount Hope. Upon arrival, they made contact with the victim, who was visibly battered. The victim told deputies that her ex-boyfriend had forced entry into her residence struck her, and then left the area before law enforcement arrived. The victim also told deputies the man had been calling and messaging her all day, and made a threat to her saying “things would not end well for her”. Deputies were able to track down the male and made an arrest. It was at this time deputies discovered the male to have multiple previous convictions of domestic violence.
Alfred L Jennings, 61 of Oak Hill, was charged with the felony offenses of Burglary and Third-Offense Domestic Battery. Jennings was transported to Southern Regional Jail pending further court proceedings.
