OAK HILL, WV (LOOTPRESS) – A Fayette County man faces possession-related charges following a series on controlled drug purchases conducted by law enforcement.
According to Fayette County Magistrate documents, on Tuesday, February 6, 2024, Officer Dodrill of the Central Regional Drug and Violent Crimes Task Force, along with other officers executed a search warrant at 400 Collinwood Drive in Oak Hill.
The residence in question was that of Jacob William Ross – 28 years old of Oak Hill. Inside the residence, law enforcement discovered methamphetamine, scales, and packaging materials, all of which – based on items seized and prior controlled drug purchases from Ross at the residence – led authorities to determine that Ross was in possession of methamphetamine with intent to deliver.
Based on the incident Ross was charged with Possession with Intent to deliver, the latest in a series of arrests involving possession, with others having entailed traffic and probation violations.
