OAK HILL, WV (LOOTPRESS) – An Oak Hill man has been arrested on charges of Domestic Assault and Destruction of Property.
According to reports from Deputy Lt. Crisp of the Fayette County Sheriff’s Office, on Tuesday, 06/14/2022, authorities were dispatched to the Greenville Road area of Oak Hill in response to a man with a brick making threats.
Upon arrival at the scene, Lt. Crisp spoke with Jacob Nutter who advised that the windows of his home had been broken by Charles Lee.
After discovering the condition of his residence, Nutter is said to have then gone after Lee, and found him at Greenville Road where the two became engaged in a verbal altercation.
Lee is reported to have then gone into the woods before reemerging with brick, which he used to threaten Nutter, as well as his wife Lakesha, before pursuing the latter.
Lakesha Nutter was able to leave the scene in her vehicle, but Lee managed to use the brick to shatter the headlight of Mr. Nutter’s truck, a Dodge Ram. Photos of the damage to the vehicle were obtained by Lt. Crisp.
During the investigation it was revealed that Charles Lee is the uncle of Lakesha Nutter.
Deputy Fernandez obtained photos of the damage done at the residence, and witnessed Lee threatening Lakesha Nutter while Lt. Crisp spoke with Mr. Nutter.
Lee was arrested on misdemeanor charges of Destruction of Property and Domestic Assault.
