OAK HILL, WV (LOOTPRESS) – The city of Oak Hill is inviting residents to join the effort to make the town cleaner and more beautiful at the upcoming Oak Hill Clean Up Day on August 22, 2024.
This event, which will take place rain or shine, is organized with the support of the WV Community Development Hub under the “Build the Hill” initiative.
The day will kick off at 8:45 AM at the amphitheater, where participants will gather before dispersing to different locations around the city from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM.
Volunteers will engage in various activities such as litter pick up, flower planting, window cleaning, and sidewalk cleaning.
To cap off the day, a community cookout will be held at the amphitheater starting at 1:00 PM, providing an opportunity for volunteers to relax and connect with their neighbors.
