WHITE SULPHUR SPRINGS, WV (LOOTPRESS) – A man is facing charges after he stomped on his girlfriend’s chest, accusing her of cheating on him with his brother.
White Sulphur Springs Police say they responded to an apartment in White Sulphur Springs regarding a domestic. When they arrived, they were greeted by a distraught female victim. The victim told officers that her boyfriend, Jacob Vanburan, had accused her of cheating on him with his brother, resulting in him throwing her down on the couch, stomping on her chest and ribs, and then grabbing her by the throat and choking her.
While the victim was kicked repeatedly, she yelled for her son to call 911.
Vanburan fled the scene, and police started to chase him. Officers tracked the suspect behind the Old White Motel before running into a swarm of hornets, injuring two officers and the K-9.
Vanburan was later captured and arrested. Police charged him with fleeing and 2nd-offense of domestic battery. He is currently out on bond.
