WHEELING, WV (LOOTPRESS) – An Ohio man was taken into custody this week following a trespassing call and is now facing drug charges out of Wheeling.
According to the Wheeling Police Department, on Wednesday at around 4:30 p.m., law enforcement members were called to the Garden Park Apartments in Warwood for what is said to initially have been a trespassing-related call pertaining to the residence.
Officers successfully located the individual involved and obtained a search warrant for the apartment. This search led to the discovery 396.90 grams of methamphetamine, 7.98 grams of marijuana, and 2.85 grams of cocaine, along with prescription drugs inside.
The subject, identified as Jeremy Brandon Evans – 35 years old of Columbus, Ohio – was arrested and charged with four counts of possession with intent to deliver, as well as one count of felon in possession of a firearm.
Evans was transported to the Northern Regional Jail, where he currently remains.
