UPDATE: BECKLEY, WV (LOOTPRESS) – An arrest has been made in relation to the shooting death of Traysouan Robertson that occurred on Clyde Street in Beckley on December 10, 2023.
At around 11:45pm on December 14, 2023, detectives and officers of the Beckley Police Department took 18-year-old, Marquest Fortune into custody at his residence in Beckley.
He now faces the following charges:
• First Degree Murder
• Attempted First Degree Murder
• Use of a firearm during the commission of a
felony
• Wanton Endangerment (7 cts.) ”
BECKLEY, WV (LOOTPRESS) – At approximately 1:20 am this morning, officers of the Beckley Police Department responded to a shooting incident at a residence in the 200 block of Clyde Street.
Upon arrival, they discovered one male victim suffering from a single gunshot wound. Emergency medical services responded and attempted life-saving measures, however, the victim was pronounced dead at the scene. The Beckley Police Department Detective Bureau is currently investigating this incident as a homicide. The victim in this incident is identified as Traysouan Robertson, 20, of Beckley, WV.
