HINTON, WV (LOOTPRESS) – A Summers County vehicle accident on Sunday has reportedly led to the tragic passing of one driver.
The Summers County Sheriff’s Office reports that, at approximately 1:44pm on Sunday, August 11, 2024, members of the Summers County Sheriff’s Office responded to the scene of a reported two-vehicle accident.
Details regarding the accident are scarce at the time of writing, though it has been confirmed that one vehicle involved in the accident was a motorcycle being operated by an adult male who lost his life as a result of the incident.
The identity of the man operating the motorcycle has yet to be confirmed by authorities, as do any identifying details with regard to the other involved driver in the accident and the type of vehicle being driven by the individual.
Additionally, the nature and cause of the accident have yet to be confirmed by law enforcement at press time.
