LOGAN, WV (LOOTPRESS) – A Columbus, Ohio, man is facing multiple charges after a West Virginia State Police investigation into a trespassing complaint led to the discovery of drugs, cash and firearms in Logan.
According to West Virginia State Police, troopers from the Logan Detachment responded to a trespassing complaint on High Street in Logan on Monday, June 15.
During the investigation, troopers reportedly located a significant amount of fentanyl, marijuana, U.S. currency and several firearms. Police said one of the firearms had been reported stolen in Ohio.
State police charged Dominque Simmons, 37, of Columbus, with possession with intent to deliver fentanyl, possession with intent to deliver marijuana, five counts of prohibited person with a firearm, transferring/receiving stolen property, obstructing and refusal to fingerprint.
Simmons was transported to the Southwestern Regional Jail to await arraignment.
West Virginia State Police said the investigation remains ongoing.
