GRANDVIEW, WV (LOOTPRESS) – The Raleigh County Sheriff’s Office announced that a suspect has been arrested following a reported breaking and entering at a local restaurant in Grandview.
According to Sheriff Frank Priddy, deputies were dispatched on May 5, 2026, to the Grandview Diner after receiving a report of a breaking and entering that had already occurred.
During the investigation, deputies identified the suspect as Jeremy Redden. Investigators later located and apprehended Redden.
Authorities said Redden was charged with breaking and entering, grand larceny, and two counts of petit larceny.
Redden is currently being held on a $150,000 bond.
Sheriff Priddy and Chief Deputy Frankie Shelton commended the responding deputies and detectives for what they described as a thorough investigation and swift apprehension of the suspect.
Authorities noted that all suspects are presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law.
