SAINT ALBANS, WV (LOOTPRESS) – The Kanawha County Sheriff’s Office has announced the arrest of a suspect in connection with a stabbing that occurred on the morning of May 23 in the Amandaville Court area of St. Albans.
Following an investigation, detectives identified 54-year-old Terry Jo Duncan of Saint Albans as the suspect.
Authorities say the stabbing stemmed from a domestic violence-related incident.
A felony warrant for malicious wounding was obtained, and Duncan was located later that day in the Saint Albans area. She was taken into custody without incident.
Duncan was arraigned in Kanawha County Magistrate Court and given a $10,000 cash bond. She is currently being held at South Central Regional Jail.
The Kanawha County Sheriff’s Office emphasized that, as with all criminal cases, the suspect is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
