UPSHUR COUNTY, WV (LOOTPRESS) – A 65-year-old Ohio woman was killed in an ATV crash on July 4 in Upshur County, according to the Upshur County Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies responded to the scene of the accident near 943 Mt. Nebo Road, where they found the victim, Patricia L. Campbell of Ravenna, Ohio, had been ejected from an ATV that had rolled over.
She was pronounced dead at the scene.
Authorities say Campbell was not wearing a helmet at the time of the crash.
The incident remains under investigation.
The Upshur County Sheriff’s Office was assisted at the scene by the West Virginia State Police, Upshur EMS, and the Ellamore Fire Department.
