CHARLESTON, WV (LOOTPRESS) – A 40-year-old man from Mount Clare died Saturday following a fire at his home in Harrison County, according to the West Virginia State Fire Marshal’s Office.
The fire was reported around 2 p.m. on August 9 at a residence on Jerome Avenue in Mount Clare.

The victim was taken to the West Virginia State Medical Examiner’s Office for an autopsy and positive identification.
State Fire Marshal investigators are continuing to investigate the cause of the fire.
