JACKSON COUNTY, WV (LOOTPRESS) – The lone occupant of a small plane survived a crash Sunday near the new TIMET facility in Jackson County, according to the Jackson County Sheriff’s Department.
Deputies and other emergency personnel responded to the scene of the single-engine plane crash near the facility in Millwood.
The sheriff’s department said the occupant survived the crash and was successfully extricated from the wreckage.
HealthNet Aeromedical Services was transporting the occupant for medical treatment. The extent of the person’s injuries was not immediately released.
Authorities said additional details may be released as they become available.
