MCDOWELL COUNTY, WV (LOOTPRESS) – Two people have been arrested after police discovered a plethora of drugs and cash within their residence.
According to the McDowell County Sheriff’s Office, on Tuesday, October 17, 2023, at approximately 12 AM, deputies with the McDowell County Sheriff’s Office executed a search warrant in the area of Tunnel Hill Road which is located in the Newhall area of McDowell County.
Upon conducting a search of the residence, deputies located blue and white packages suspected to be suboxone, a quantity of suspected meth, and a quantity of U.S. Currency suspected of proceeds from drug trafficking.
After searching the residence deputies arrested Timothy Johnson and Mary Branch.
They have both been charged with Possession with Intent to Deliver A Sch II controlled substance, Possession with intent to Deliver A Sch III controlled substance, Maintaining A Dwelling For The Sale Of Controlled Substances & Felony Conspiracy.
Mr. Johnson and Ms. Branch were arraigned by Magistrate Shelton and their bonds were set at $75,000.00 cash only.
