ORIGINAL STORY: Multiple units from the Fayette County Sheriff’s Department have responded to a shooting incident in the Adena Village area.
According to Fayette County Dispatch, callers reported an active shooter in the Adena Village area after 10 AM on Monday.

One person has been injured in the shooting and has been described as a male in his 50s or 60s. EMS has been dispatched.
A shelter-in-place has been issued for the Adena Village and Mount Carbon area.
Police are currently searching for the potential suspect.
