MINGO COUNTY, WV (LOOTPRESS) – Law enforcement has responded to an officer-involved shooting Friday evening.
According to the Mingo County Sheriff’s Office (MCSO), deputies responded to a 911 call at Laurel Circle in Mingo County.
The incident law enforcement responded to was an officer-involved shooting.
The West Virginia State Police Crime Scene Team is currently investigating the incident.
MCSO has not stated whether it was a state trooper, deputy, or municipal officer involved in the shooting.
Police say they are unable to release more information at this time.
