SAINT ALBANS, WV (LOOTPRESS) – The Kanawha County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s assistance in locating Cheryl Lynn Vanscoy, a 44-year-old woman from Minnesota who was last seen in Saint Albans, Kanawha County.
Vanscoy, who stands 5’8” tall and weighs approximately 150 pounds, has red hair and hazel eyes.
She was last heard from on November 14, 2024, around noon when she left her relative’s home in her vehicle to visit a store. She has not been seen or heard from since.
Authorities describe Vanscoy as wearing a dark jacket and blue leggings.
She has distinctive tattoos, including a black panther with a rose on her right lower leg and a barbed wire tattoo on her upper left arm.
She was driving a dark blue 2021 Toyota Highlander with Minnesota license plate GJK446 at the time of her disappearance.
Although deputies do not currently believe Vanscoy to be in danger.
