MINGO COUNTY, WV (LOOTPRESS) – The Mingo County Sheriff’s Office is investigating two reported side-by-side thefts in separate areas of the county and is asking for the public’s help.
According to the sheriff’s office, a 2025 gray Polaris RZR was reported stolen from the Stone Coal area. Additional details about the theft were not immediately released.
Deputies are also investigating the theft of a 2024 black Can-Am reported stolen from the Laurel Creek area at approximately 1 a.m. Tuesday, May 26, 2026.
Authorities did not release information about possible suspects in either case.
