(LOOTPRESS) – The Powerball jackpot has climbed to an estimated $700 million after no ticket matched all six numbers in Wednesday night’s drawing.
The winning numbers were 31, 59, 62, 65, and 68, with a Powerball of 5. The Power Play multiplier was 2x.

Ahead of Wednesday’s drawing, the grand prize stood at an estimated $643 million, already the 13th largest in Powerball history.
With no jackpot winner, the prize has now grown to $700 million, with a cash option of $316.3 million, according to the Powerball website.
The Multi-State Lottery Association, which helps facilitate the game, reported that Powerball sales are currently 40% higher than this time last year.
“As the jackpot increases, we expect ticket sales to increase,” the association said.
Despite the soaring prize, the odds of winning the jackpot remain about 1 in 292 million. The next drawing will be held Saturday night.
