Oak Hill 1, Beckley 0
Oak Hill – Jayden McClain pitched a three-hit shutout and Connor Smith drove in the only run he needed to beat longtime rival Beckley 1-0 Tuesday at Jerry Epperly Field.
Smith’s RBI-single was the lone hit of the night for Red Devils, while McClain struckout seven and walked just one.
The Flying Eagles collected three hits, but could not find the plate against McClain. Isaiah Patterson was the tough luck loser striking out six on the night.
Conner Mollohan, Chase Tolliver and Maddex Sims all had hits for Beckley.

Independence 8, James Monroe 0
The Patriots scored early and Cole Cunningham pitched a complete game shutout en route to an 8-0 win over James Monroe.
James Williams blasted a three-run homer and had four RBI for Independence, while Cunningham and Clay Basham hit a double.
Levi Barnett drove in two runs for the Patriots and Justin Feamster hit a double for the Mavs.

Nicholas County 16, Liberty 0 (5 innings)
The Grizzlies piled up the runs in the first four innings and cruised past Liberty 16-0 in five innings Tuesday.
Caleb Burns, Alex Pritt and Cole Brown each had two hits and drove in three runs for Nicholas County.
Ira Mylott went all five innings for the Grizzlies allowing just one hit and fanning eight for the win.

Wyoming East 10, Westside (5 innings)
The Warriors collected 15 hits and surrendered just one to the Renegades in a 10-0 five-inning win Tuesday at the War Zone.
Jacob Howard continued his blistering tear with three hits, including a home run, a double, and drove in two runs. Zach Hunt hit two doubles and drove in three runs.
On the hill, Miken Smyth went all five innings allowing just one hit and striking out eight in the win. Smyth also helped his own cause with a pair of doubles and an RBI.
Shawn Mosley hit a double, a single and had one RBI, while Hayden Blankenship had three hits and two RBI.

Greenbrier East 3, Shady 2
Fairlea – Gavin Bennett’s RBI single in the bottom of the 10th plated the winning run Tuesday as Greenbrier East defeated Shady Spring 3-2 in extra innings.
Both starting pitchers were efficient in their outings with Cam Manns going 6.2 innings and striking out 11 for Shady while Bennett allowed just three runs in five innings of work for East.
