Greenbrier East 11, Independence 5
Fairlea – Greenbrier East scored nine runs in the fourth inning to defeat Independence 11-5 Tuesday.
Gavin Bennett had three hits and four RBI for the Spartans, while Ashton Cochran collected three hits and drove in two runs.
Degan Williams had a double and two RBI for the Patriots and Blake Stratton had two RBI as well.
James Monroe 19, Mount View 1 (5 innings)
Lindside -Kadyn Hines did not allow a hit Tuesday night and struck-out 11 Golden Knights to propel James Monroe past Mount View 19-1 in five innings.
Hines also had a double as part of a three-hit night, while Nick Jewell had a triple and three RBI.
Hudson Boggess added a triple and an RBI, while Kaden Lowe and Baylee Ridgeway knocked in two runs each.
Nicholas County 11, Greenbrier West 9
Charmco – Nicholas County scored three runs in the sixth inning to rally past Greenbrier West, 11-9 Tuesday.
Ira Mylott had a home run, a double and three RBI to pace the Grizzlies (17-4), while Coleton Hellums added a double, two singles and two RBI.
Grayson Kesterson, Cain Ferrell and Cole Brown all had a double for the Summersville contingent.
Chance Hanna had two hits and an RBI for the Cavaliers (7-11). Levi Ramsey, David Lester and Landon McClung all had an RBI.
Oak Hill 10, Princeton 1
Oak Hill – The Red Devils picked up their second win in as many nights over a sectional foe with a 10-1 victory over Princeton at Jerry Epperly Field.
Hunter Elswick had a triple and two RBI for Oak Hill (14-12) and Jayden McClain smacked a double, a single and had one RBI. Owen Grose had two hits and two RBI.
Aiden Smith picked up the win on the mound with a complete game, allowing only three hits, one run and fanning 10 Tigers.
