Lindside – Hudson Boggess collected three hits and Cooper Ridgeway drove in two runs to lead James Monroe past Richwood 6-0.
Ridgeway, Justin Feamster and Bryce Neel combined to shutout the Lumberjacks scattering five hits and striking out 12 batters.
Neel added two hits and Feamster smacked a double in the win.
Bluefield 8, Graham, Va. 7
Bluefield – The Beavers scored three runs in the bottom of the sixth and held on to beat the G-Men 8-7 Friday.
Bryson Redmond had a triple and two RBI to pace Bluefield who benefited from five Graham errors.
The Beavers open sectional play next week against PikeView.
