Lindside – James Monroe erupted in the fifth inning, scoring seven runs to claim a 5-7 win over Princeton Thursday in Lindside.
Justin Feamster drove in a trio of runs while Hudson Boggess collected three hits for the Mavs.
Zack Jenkins and Jackson Lester had three hits each to pace Princeton in the loss.
Charleston Catholic 17, Independence 15
Coal City – Independence’s late rally came up short Thursday as the Patriots fell 17-15 at home against Charleston Catholic.
Cole Cunningham and Orion Wills drove in a trio of runs for Indy in a game where both teams committed six errors each.
Żaden Ranson, Gage Tawney and Jeff Reynolds drove in a trio of runs each in the win.
Nicholas County 11, Beckley 5
Beckley – Nicholas County had five different players collect multiple hits Thursday as the Grizzlies rallied to topple Beckley in Beckley 11-5.
The Grizzlies scored eight runs in the final two innings to pull away.
Caleb Burns collected a trio of hits while Lucas Milam drove in a trio of runs for Nicholas.
Maddex Sims led Beckley with two hits.
Summers County 6, Westside 3
Clear Fork – Summers broke a 3-3 tie in the seventh inning, claiming a 6-3 win over Westside Thursday in Clear Fork.
Jake Boone delivered the decisive hit to break the tie while Colten Jones one threw distance to claim the win.
Jayden Lester led Westside with a pair of hits in the loss.
