Liberty 14, Midland Trail 3
Hico – Liberty scored 11 runs in the top of the sixth inning to defeat Midland Trail 14-3 Tuesday.
Isaac Davis had a double and three RBI for the Raiders, while Colton Tolliver added a double and drove in two runs. Talan McGraw had two RBI and Landon Hall smacked a double.
Aiden Foster had a double and a single for the Patriots.
Shady Spring 5, Greenbrier East 4
Noah Fox scored on a passed ball in the bottom of the seventh inning to give Shady Spring a 5-4 win over Greenbrier East Tuesday.
Greenbrier East battled back from a 4-1 deficit to tie the game in the top of the seventh, but could not send it to extra frames.
Aiden Calvert had a double and two RBI for the Tigers and Jake Meadows had one RBI. Sam Barnett went the distance for Shady allowing just two hits, two earned runs and struck out seven to get the win.
Zion Detko had two RBI for Greenbrier East, while Gavin Bennett and Eli Green had one RBI each.
Princeton 6, Independence 5
Princeton – The home-standing Tigers scored a run in the fifth and sixth inning to slip past the Independence 6-5 Tuesday at Hunnicutt Field.
John Meadows had a double and two RBI for Princeton. Kaden Davis also had a double and an RBI, while Brody Combs collected three hits and drove in one run.
Degan Williams and Blake Stratton each had a double for Independence. Levi Barnett hit a triple.
Summers County 7, Richwood 2
Richwood – Summers County remained undefeated Tuesday with a 7-2 win over Richwood.
Ben Lane was the winning pitcher and had three hits, while Brandan Isaac drove in two runs and extended his on base streak to 33 games.
Matthew Cox had two hits and two RBI for the Bobcats.
Trae Trivolette had a double for the Lumberjacks.
