PARKERSBURG – The West Virginia Secondary Schools Activities Commission released dates and times for the Class A playoffs Sunday afternoon.
No. 5 Mount View will host Sherman Friday night at Vic Nystrom Stadium. The Golden Knights defeated the Tide 44-18 on Oct. 1 at Sherman. Both Mount View and Sherman are in the playoff field for the first time in three seasons.
No. 7 James Monroe will host Trinity Christian Saturday afternoon. Trinity is making its first ever playoff appearance while James Monroe is in the playoffs for the first time since 2017.
No. 11 Greenbrier West travels to Williamstown for a 1:30 p.m. kick on Saturday afternoon. This is a rematch of the 2019 Class A Quarterfinal matchup won by Williamstown 34-22.
No, 14 Meadow Bridge will make the trek to the eastern panhandle to face third-seed East Hardy, Saturday afternoon at 1:30 p.m. With their win over Gilmer County Friday night, the Wildcats ended a six-year playoff drought.
No. 15 Midland Trail will visit Doddridge County Friday evening at 7:30 p.m.
