Princeton – Princeton pounced on Bluefield early, scoring seven runs in the bottom of the first inning in a 14-4 six-inning victory for the host Tigers.
Grant Cochran, Zack Jenkins and Brody Combs each collected two hits in the win with Jenkins and Keegan Walters driving in two runs each. Combs led the team in RBIs with three.
Bryson Redmond led Bluefield with tow hits in the loss.
Greenbrier West 11, Summers County 5
Hinton – Dale Boone struck out 11 batters Wednesday as Greenbrier West picked up an 11-5 win over Summers County in Hinton.
Ethan Holliday drove in four runs for the Cavs as he and Boone both hit home runs in the win.
Ben Lane and Xander Hudgins each collected two hits for Summers in the loss.
