Prep Baseball Roundup: Shady and Westside pick up wins while Summers falls at Charleston Catholic

Charleston – Summer County could only muster one hit Tuesday, falling 18-0 to Charleston Catholic in Charleston.

Jonah Dicocco drove in two runs and collected two hits for the Irish.

Brandan Isaac had Summers’ lone hit.

Shady Spring 22, Liberty 0 

Glen Daniel – Nine different Shady Spring batters collected hits Tuesday as the Tigers earned a 22-0 win over Liberty in Glen Daniel Tuesday.

Colten Tate smashed a home run and drove in three runs for the Tigers while Sam Barnett pitched a two-hit shutout for the win.

Aiden Scarbrough and Colton Tolliver collected a hit each for Liberty in the loss.

Westside 16, Van 9

Clear Fork – Westside collected 13 hits Tuesday, picking up a 16-9 win over Van in Clear Fork.

Chalrei Hawks drove in four runs for the Renegades, who recovered from a 6-3 hole, in the win. Wyatt Osborne added three RBI in the win while Kaiden Vance collected two hits.
