The 2023 high school baseball state tournament wrapped up two weeks ago and coaches are already making plans for next season.
Part of that process is playing in the annual Shady Spring Summer Baseball Tournament which starts Thursday evening.
Eight teams make up the tournament and are divided into two divisions. The top two teams in each division advance to the championship round Sunday.
Shady Spring, Oak Hill, Beckley and PikeView are in Pool A, while Nicholas County, Riverside, Princeton and Liberty are in Pool B.
