Summers County 9, Greater Beckley Christian 2
Hinton – Brandan Isaac collected three hits, including a triple, and drove in two runs to help lead Summers County (5-0) past Greater Beckley 9-2.
Colten Jones went the distance striking out 12 to get the win. Jones also homered and drove in three runs to help his own cause.
Summers broke the game open in the 5th-inning with when Ben Lane doubled, Isaac tripled and Jones homered to take 7-2 lead.
Colton Harper had two RBI for the Crusaders and Kaden Bolen had a double.
Beckley 11, Greenbrier West 1 (5 innings)
The Flying Eagles plated seven runs in the second inning and cruised past Greenbrier West 11-1 in five innings at Linda K. Epling Stadium.
Jackson Gambrell had a double and drove in three runs, while Ty Evans also had three RBI for Beckley.
Chase Tolliver also tripled and drove in two runs.
Braydon McClung had three hits in three trips and scored the lone West run.
Westside 10, Tug Valley 3
Naugatuck – Kadien Vance had three hits and three RBI to lead Westside past Tug Valley 10-3.
Bryson Blankenship also drove in two runs and Hayden Miller had two hits for the Renegades.
Jaedan Lester recorded 12 strikeouts over 4 2/3 innings of work.
Oak Hill 10, Riverside 1
Quincy – Oak Hill scored five runs in the opening at-bat and never looked back to beat Riverside 10-1.
Jayden McClain pitched 6 1/3 innings allowing just four hits and one run, while striking out 11 to get the win.
McClain, Trent Rider, and Caleb Compton had two RBI for Oak Hill. Owen Grose had a pair of hits and three RBI.
