East Fairmont 65, Oak Hill 43
Thursday night East Fairmont was on the wrong end of the scoreboard in a loss to Shady Spring.
That was not the case a day later at the Little General Battle for the Armory.
Battling Oak Hill in the consolation game of the Burger King Division, the Bees stung the Red Devils with a big second half to take a 65-43 win.
After falling behind 13-2 early in the contest, Oak Hill roared back to take a 21-17 lead just 30 seconds into the second period.
It was the last hoorah for the Red Devils.
The visitors from Marion County outscored the Red Devils 18-7 over the remainder of the quarter before putting the game to bed in the third.
A quick bucket moved Oak Hill back to within five points, but when the horn sounded to end the third period, East Fairmont was in command 50-32.
Blake Hunt and Jackson Crouso led the Bees with 20 points each, while Greyson Stewart added 11 points. Stewart and Crouso grabbed seven rebounds and Maddox Boyers dished out nine assists. Hunt made six 3-pointers in just nine attempts.
East Fairmont also controlled the boards holding a 35-17 margin over the Red Devils.
Trevor Kelly and Levi Kiszka paced Oak Hill with 11 points each.
