Gardner – Leading by a point after three quarters, Greenbrier East exploded in the fourth, outscoring PikeView 32-7 in the final frame to secure a 91-65 win in Gardner Wednesday night.
Adam Seams led the way with 23 points while Aaron Griffith added 20 for the Spartans. Goose Gabbert added 19 and Bryson Brammer 14.
Jared Vestal led PikeView with 20 points, one of four Panthers to score in double figures in the loss.
Greenbrier East (1-2) will return home to host rival Beckley on Friday while PikeView (0-2) will travel to Parkersburg South for a two-day tournament on Friday.
