Bluefield – The Patton brothers combined for 55 points to lead Summit Christian to an 83-44 win over Tazewell, Va at the Lil’ Tony Webster Memorial Basketball Classic at the Brushfork Armory.
Eli Paton led all scorers with 28 points, while M.J. Patton followed with 27 points, eight rebounds and three steals.
Chance Watkins narrowly missed a triple-double scoring 10 points, grabbing nine rebounds and handing out seven assists. Watkins also had five steals.
Lane McMullen led the Bulldogs with 27 and Braydon Hinkle scored 10.

The Crusaders jumped out to a commanding halftime lead and rolled past the Golden Knights 76-48 Saturday afternoon.
Averyk Woodson and Drew Fitzwater led Greater Beckley with 14 points apiece, while Isaiah Kincaid scored five. Fitzwater grabbed 11 rebounds and Kincaid had six assists.
Keegan Davidson scored eight and Javonte Spencer had six for GBC. Davidson recorded five assists and Spencer had eight rebounds.
Jaron Hale led Mount View with 12 points. Jawuan Jackson and Hunter Muncy added seven points each.
