Hico – Midland Trail outscored Greenbrier West 18-7 in the third period and held on for a thrilling 65-64 win over the Cavaliers Tuesday.
Jaden Gladwell led four Patriots in double figures with 18 points, including the game-winning 3-pointer at the buzzer. Eli Campbell followed closely with 17 points, while Thad Brown added 13 points and Justin Cooper scored 10.
Braydon McClung lead all scorers with 21 points for West and tanner Hagy scored 20 points.
