The Lootpress Player of the Week Award sponsored by Mid-State Ford, Dutch Miller Automotive, Little General and The Law Offices of Brandon Steele has returned for the second year.
Below are the candidates for the first week of the prep football season. Voting will close Tuesday at 11:59 P.M. The fan vote will be used in the event of a tie. Please read that sentence again. The poll determines the Community Choice winner and is used in the event of a tiebreaker. It DOES NOT determine the overall Player of the Week winner. There are also changes to the Player of the Week voting pertaining to the top overall vote getter that you can read about here.
The top overall vote getter will advance to our Community Choice poll at the end of the regular season where the winner of that poll will receive a $500 scholarship.
