Lindside – James Monroe piled up 488 yards of total offense Friday, 336 of which came on the ground, in a 50-26 win over Summers County in Lindside.
Chaz Boggs led the way for the Mavs with 234 yards and five touchdowns from scrimmage in the win while Cooper Ridgeway turned 27 carries into 196 yards and three touchdowns.
Brandan Isaac threw for 164 yards to lead the Bobcats, tossing a pair of touchdown passes and rushing for another score. Ryan Oliveros hauled in both of those scoring strikes, accounting for eight of Isaacs’ completions to go along with 92 yards.
Layton Dowdy threw for 152 yards and added two touchdown passes for the Mavericks.
James Monroe (4-0) will travel to Chamrco next week to face off against Greenbrier West (5-0) while Summers County (3-3) aims to rebound next week at Sherman.
