Wyoming East 9, Princeton 2
New Richmond – Olivia Hylton struck out 12 batters as Wyoming East defeated Princeton 9-2 Wednesday in New Richmond.
East slugger Paige Laxton finished 2 for 3 at the plate, hitting her area best eighth home run of the season. Kayley Bane also finished with two hits, driving in two runs while Andrea Laxton, Maddie Clark and Hylton drove in two runs.
Princeton’s Abbi Jenkins finished with two hits in the loss.
East improves to 10-8 and will travel to Liberty on Thursday.

James Monroe 20, Montcalm 3 (5 innings)
Lindside – James Monroe pounded out 16 hits Wednesday, defeating Montcalm 20-3 in five innings in Lindside.
Emily Bailey, Bryleigh Thomas and Chloe Shires had three hits each for the Mavericks while Thomas led the charge driving in five runs.
Thomas also picked up the win for the Mavs in the circle.
James Monroe will return to action Thursday when to travels to Shady Spring.
