Hedgesville – Princeton quarterback Grant Cochran completed 11 passes for 235 yards, tossing two touchdowns as the Class AAA No. 5 Tigers rallied to pull off a 21-16 comeback win over Hedgesville Friday.
Accounting for the Tigers other touchdown of the evening was Brodee Rice who carried the ball 27 times for 133 yards. Rice’s score gave the Tigers the lead and an interception by Kham Proffitt iced the win.
Cochran’s touchdown passes found the hands of Connor Padgett and Jon Wellman. Dominick Collins led all receivers with 70 yards.
The Tigers improve to 5-0 and will host Class AAA No. 6 Bridgeport on Friday.
