Parkersburg South 56, Beckley 20
Parkersburg – All-stater Gage Wright scored five touchdowns to lead Parkersburg South (3-0) past Beckley 56-20 Friday night.
Wright had two rushing scores, two receiving touchdowns and returned a fumble recovery 46 yards for another touchdown.
The Flying Eagles were their own worst enemy committing five turnovers that led to 29 points by the Patriots.
Elijah Waller, Christian Stewart and A.J. Thomas all had touchdown runs for Beckley (2-1) which plays at Bluefield Saturday at 1 p.m.
