Pipestem – Low scores were the order of the day Wednesday at Pipestem State Park.
Defending Class AAA Region 3 champion Greenbrier East remained undefeated on the season in a tough battle with Graham, Va., Princeton and PikeView.
The Spartans fired a team total of 148 led by Isaac Hutchison with a one-under par 35 to take the win. Nate Dolan added a 37, along woth Seth Napier and Isaac Cantrell who each had a 38 to round out the team scoring.
McCartney Hinkle led the G-Men (153) with a three-under 33 to take low medalist honors. Bailey Goodson came in with a 39, while Dawson Goins shot 40 and Allana Hamaty had a 41.
Dylan Canterbury shot one-under to pace the Tigers (155) and Kaden Davis added a 38. Joseph Flanigan, Blake Blankenship and Christian Howard all had a 41 for Princeton.
Landon Wyatt had the low round for PikeView (171) with a 40, while Landon Palmer added a 41 and Eli Chambers shot 43. Eli Naylor rounded out the Panther scoring with a 47.
