Glenville – Wyoming East hit eight home runs Friday evening, beating Gilmer County twice in a double header 12-4 and 20-6.
Paige Laxton led the way on the evening, mashing three home runs total to bring her season county to six while Kayley Bane hit her first two bombs of the season. Andrea Laxton, Olivia Hylton and Savannah Brehm accounted for the other three home runs in the sweep.
Hylton was the winning pitcher in both games.
The Lady Warriors improve to 4-3 and will host PikeView on Monday.
