The seedings and pairing for the volleyball state tournament are set with action beginning next Friday.
Locally in Class A Region 3 champion Greenbrier West secured the No. 5 seed and will play No. 4 Gilmer County on Friday at 8:30 a.m.
In Class AA defending state champion Shady Spring secures the No. 1 overall seed and will open its title defense against No. 8 Frankfort at approximately 10:30 a.m. on Friday.
Last but not least, in Class AAA Beckley secures the No. 5 seed and will play the team it beat in the Region 3 championship game, No. 4 George Washington.
All games will be played at the Charleston Coliseum beginning on Friday, Nov. 12 with the title games taking place on Nov. 13. Those wishing to purchase tickets can do so at the Coliseum box office. No tickets will be sold digitally.
