PRINCETON, WV (LOOTPRESS) – A Princeton man is facing charges after he allegedly sexually assaulted a woman behind Dollar General.
According to police, on December 21, 2023, a worker heard a female screaming behind the store. When Princeton Police arrived at the scene, they observed a male behind some pallets with his pants down, standing over a female who was crying.
The male suspect, Traevon Ware, 19, was detained. The female victim said that Ward had punched her and stated he would rape her if she didn’t give him oral sex.
The witness said he heard a confrontation and a female begging for her life while Ware demanded sexual favors. Ware made the victim give him oral sex while stating he was going to rape her.
Ware is charged with second-degree sexual assault and unlawful restraint.
He is in the Southern Regional Jail under a 20,000-dollar cash-only bond.
