PRINCETON, WV (LOOTPRESS) – A Princeton man faces charges after firing a gun inside the Dairy Queen on Oakvale Road.
According to State Police, on Saturday, November 26th, Christopher Bigelow entered the Diary Queen on Oakvale Road in Princeton with a firearm located in his jacket. When he entered, Bigelow began arguing with one of the employees. Bigelow then pulled out the gun and shot in the direction of the employee.
During the shooting, there were four employees within the immediate vicinity of the argument and gunshot. Troopers recovered one fired bullet in the kitchen of the restaurant above the grill.
A criminal history check was performed, and Bigelow had a felony conviction in Tazewell County, Virginia, for abduction by force, intimidation, and deception.
Bigelow is in Southern Regional Jail under a 150,000 dollar bond. He is charged with attempted murder, four counts of wanton endangerment, and a person prohibited from carrying a firearm.
